So this weight loss journey has still not taken off…yet. I have started cooking and eating at home more, but the exercise hasn’t fallen into place as easily expected. It seems like there’s a million and one things to get done in a day, and simply not enough time. But who am I kidding this is just a lame excuse. If I have time to spend minutes to an hour browsing on the internet or looking on my facebook timeline then I have time to workout at least 30 minutes a day. I’ve lost the motivation somewhere and can’t seem to get my mojo back.
What’s my plan of action? Well, tomorrow I have to make my way to Kroger to buy some items to cook for my meal prep. I’m planning to utilize my crockpot big time. I’m thinking either taco soup or chili, barbeque chicken thighs, brown rice, veggies, and salad for this week. I really don’t want to mention the chicken thighs I just threw out because I let them go bad. I kept thinking I’m going to throw them in the crockpot tomorrow. Well, here it is Saturday and the only place I’m throwing them is in the trash outside. I’m not with the fad diets such as keto, low carb, etc. I’m just going to go at it the old fashioned way by cutting calories and eating more filling foods.
Also, this is the week I try to begin to get my life back on track. I’ve flirted with the elliptical machine a little bit this year, but it’s about time we got reacquainted. I have to dig deep and find the motivation I had 2 years ago. Who’s with me? I guess at this point it really doesn’t matter who’s with me. It’s up to me to get it done. Here’s to a great week! Let’s get it!
